Jürgen Raithel

Jürgen Raithel (born April 24, 1969 ) is a German psychologist , psychotherapist , educational and social scientist, and specialist book author .

Life

From 1990 , Raithel studied psychology , education , ethnology , anthropogeography , sociology and sports science . He received his doctorate in 1998 in pedagogy at Bielefeld University and in 2004 in medical sociology at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. He was a doctoral scholarship holder at the Evangelisches Studienwerk Villigst, is Altvilligster and was on the selection committee for the award of study grants. In 2005 he completed his habilitation at the University of Bamberg on the subject of gender identity development in adolescence. In 2011 he was offered a professorship for health psychology at the University of Health & Sport, Technology & Art in Berlin. From 2014 to 2016 he was visiting professor for environmental and traffic psychology at the Kyrgyz State University for Construction, Traffic and Architecture (KSUCTA) in Bishkek.

Raithel completed training as a cognitive behavioral therapist and in systemic therapy. He is a specialist psychologist for health psychology, psychotherapy, legal psychology, traffic psychology and child and adolescent psychology (FSP).

As a youth researcher, Raithel deals with youth development processes in connection with problem behavior and risk behavior. He worked ethnologically and empirically on the youth phase and designed a system for risk behavior in adolescence. He is involved in catch-up development in West Africa and Central Asia. His main research interests are developmental sociology, ethnopsychology / sociology, environmental psychology and clinical psychology / health psychology. The main focus of work is diagnosis and assessment in the field of legal and traffic psychology.
