Jürgen Schröder (politician)
Jürgen Schröder (born September 15, 1940 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician. In 1991 he was sent to the European Parliament by the Bundestag as an observer from the former territory of the German Democratic Republic . From 1994 to 2009 he was a member of the CDU for Saxony in the parliamentary group of the European People's Party - European Democrats .

- Deputy for the Regional Development Committee
- Deputy Chairman of the delegation to the EU- Mexico Joint Parliamentary Committee
- Deputy for the delegation for relations with the countries of Central America

- 1966–1990: editor, technical translator, lexicographer
- 1966: Graduate interpreter / translator
- 1990: European Commissioner of the CDU parliamentary group in the freely elected People's Chamber
