Jürgen Törkott

Jürgen Törkott is a German radio and television presenter .

Life

After finishing school, Törkott began an apprenticeship as a hotel manager in 1985. From 1988 to 1992 he gained his first experience in radio with the no longer existing broadcasters CMS Radio Nürnberg, Radio Starlet and Radio 5 as well as Radio Gong 97.1 in Nürnberg . From 1992 to 2014 he was a moderator at Bayern 3 . He could be heard in the formats Super 3 , Bayern 3 in the afternoon and from 1997 on his own show Törkott - the long Saturday .

In the meantime he moderated the format Bundesliga aktuell (right in the middle instead of just being there) at DSF (today Sport1 ) and worked as a co-moderator in one- two . Törkott moderated the German edition of Robot Wars . The program was broadcast on RTL II . Since 2014 he has been a presenter at Radio Südostschweiz , part of the Somedia stock corporation , including the Switzerland branch . Since July 2016 he has also been the radio station's program manager.

Törkott is married with two sons and lives in Chur .
