Sport1 News is a current sports magazine of the German private broadcaster Sport1 . It is currently broadcast Monday through Friday at 7:30 p.m. The program provides information about the events of the Bundesliga and other soccer competitions, but also about other sports such as motor sports , ice hockey , basketball , volleyball , handball , darts , boxing , tennis , US sports and e-sports . Well-known guests from sports often appear in the program.

Until July 2019, the program was called Bundesliga Aktuell and reported exclusively on football during the current Bundesliga season . Before international competitions, the program was also broadcast under the name EM aktuell or WM aktuell , depending on the event taking place .

Moderation

The program is currently moderated by Laura Papendick , Ruth Hofmann , Jochen Stutzky and Hartwig Thöne alternately.

After the 2013 program reform at Sport1, the program was now presented by two main presenters alternating weekly. Starting with the 2015/16 Bundesliga season, there was also an additional issue on Friday at 11:30 p.m. Co-moderators were also occasionally used to present reports, results and opinions from the Internet in the program.
