Nele Schenker

Nele Schenker (born March 5, 1990 in Cottbus ) is a German presenter , reporter and former athlete .

Career

Until 2009, Schenker attended the elite sports schools in Cottbus and Potsdam at the Brandenburg Olympic Training Center. She then studied applied media science in Berlin with a focus on sports journalism and sports management. During her studies she worked as an intern for Sport1 , BFV .TV, Bild.de and DFB-TV, among others .

As a competitive athlete in athletics, all-round competitions and hurdles sprints, she was a multiple regional champion of Brandenburg. Due to ongoing back problems, however, she ended her sports career in 2009.

Schenker has been working as a presenter for Sport1 since 2011. There she moderated u. a. the regional soccer league , the current Bundesliga , the women's Bundesliga , the UEFA Women's Champions League , the soccer magazine Scooore! , the Premier League and alternating with Ruth Hofmann Hattrick - The 2. Bundesliga . Since October 2017 Schenker is one of the field reporters from Telekom Sports . In addition, since July 2018 she has been writing a monthly column entitled “Schenker's Steilvorlage” for the sports news platform liga3-online.de.

Since 2017 she has been supporting the sporting activities of the McDonald's Children's Aid Foundation as patron .

Schenker is in a relationship with soccer player Robert Müller . Since July 2019 Nele Schenker has been a presenter at Sky Sport News HD and a field reporter at the Sky Bundesliga conference.
