Oliver Schwesinger (born August 25, 1971 ) is a German journalist and presenter .

life and career

Schwesinger grew up in Tostedt and graduated from high school there in 1992. Then he did his community service . He then studied sports science, English and education at the University of Hamburg . Parallel to his studies, he gained his first experience in the journalism industry in the categories of politics, music and sport with a Hamburg city ​​magazine.

He started working as a freelancer for ran on Sat.1 in 1997 . Schwesinger then worked as an editor for the Bundesliga database in Munich . From 2000 he worked as a permanent editor for productions of DSF (today Sport1 ), Premiere and ARD . Since 2003 Schwesinger has presented the broadcasts Bundesliga aktuell and Sport1 News on Sport1 and was a co-presenter in the station's flagship, Doppelpass . Schwesinger lives alternately in Munich and Hamburg and speaks fluent English.
