Dieter Könnes (born December 30, 1971 in Viersen ) is a German television presenter and author .

Life and professional history

After graduating from high school and doing community service and training as an environmental technician , Könnes first enrolled in business administration , but broke off this course after one semester and then studied sports science in Cologne. After graduating and doing an internship at a radio station, he moderated as a freelancer for several private radio stations. Könnes moderated the local time of the Duisburg region at WDR , the ARD morning magazine and at DSF, the German sports television (now Sport1 ), Bundesliga current . Since November 2010 he has moderated both the radio ( WDR 2 ) and the television program ( WDR Fernsehen ) Servicezeit des WDR.

At the same time, he worked for Sport1 from 2009 to 2012 as a moderator and commentator for the handball Bundesliga . Since the end of 2012 he has also been in charge of an offshoot of his service time moderation with Könnes fights with 15 episodes in five seasons. Könnes is married and has two children.
