Jürgen Tomczak

Jürgen Tomczak (born March 2, 1944 ) is a former German soccer player who was a defender in the 1967/68 season in the squad of the regional division Armina Bielefeld . He was one of two official amateur players in the squad. Tomczak came this season on eight missions in the second-rate Regionalliga West , in which he remained without a goal. The Arminia finished fourth at the end of the season and Tomczak moved to the then Bundesliga club SpVgg Bad Pyrmont . With this he reached the main round of the DFB Cup in 1971 , which was then played back and forth. In the two first round games against Werder Bremen he came to two cup appearances.
