Jürgen Wolter (criminal lawyer)

Jürgen Wolter (born September 7, 1943 in Hahnenklee-Bockswiese ) is a German legal scholar. He taught criminal law , criminal procedural law and legal theory at the University of Mannheim .

Life

He studied law in Göttingen and Munich. In 1969 he passed the first state examination in law in Celle, in 1972 his doctorate at the Georg-August University in Göttingen and in 1974 the second state examination in Hanover. He was a public prosecutor at the Hanover Regional Court and a research assistant in Bonn. After completing his habilitation in Bonn in 1979, he was professor in Mannheim since 1993 .
