Jānis Dūklavs
Jānis Dūklavs (born November 24, 1952 in Ķegums ) is a Latvian politician of the Zaļo un Zemnieku savienība .
Life
After graduating from high school in Jaunjelgava, Jānis Dūklavs attended the Latvian Agricultural University from 1971 . There he received a degree as a forest engineer in 1976 .
From March 2009 Dūklavs was Minister of Agriculture in the Cabinet Dombrovskis I and the Cabinet Dombrovskis II as well as in the Cabinet Straujuma I , in the Cabinet Straujuma II and in the Cabinet Kučinski . Since 2010 he has been a member of the Saeima , the Latvian parliament (interrupted from his work as minister) .
