from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The cabinet of the Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis , sworn in on March 12, 2009 , and its reshuffle on March 17, 2010, is referred to as Dombrovski's cabinet .

After unrest, Ivars Godmani's government was forced to resign on February 20, 2009. Thereupon Valdis Dombrovskis was nominated as successor, who presented his cabinet on March 4, 2009.

The ruling parliamentary groups of the People's Party (TP) , the New Age (JL) , the Alliance of Greens and Peasants (ZZS) , the Fatherland and Freedom (TB / LNNK) and the Civil Union (PS) are represented in the cabinet .

In March 2010, the People's Party announced its withdrawal from the coalition. This was followed by the resignation of four of their ministers. Only Minister of Culture Ints Dālderis remained in office, left the TP and joined the JL on June 28, 2010. On November 3, 2010, Dombrovski's II cabinet was sworn in.
