JB Cheaney
Janie B. Cheaney (* 1950 in Dallas , Texas , USA ) is an American writer for young people .
Her novels focus on historical subjects. Her greatest success was The playmaker (Eng. The Conspiracy of London ), a novel that takes the Lord Chamberlain's Men in England in 1597 as the subject. She has also published a three-part creative writing textbook.
She has received several prizes for her books.
JB Cheaney has been married since 1971 and has two children.
