JK Wedding Entrance Dance is a web video from 2009 that a dance to the song Forever by Chris Brown at the beginning of an American wedding shows. The video, which was part of a viral marketing campaign for Chris Brown, gained huge popularity and global media coverage.

Content and publication

The video shows the dance to the song Forever by Chris Brown , which was played at the beginning of the wedding of Jill Peterson and Kevin Heinz in Saint Paul on June 20, 2009 instead of the usual wedding march. The stewards, groomsmen and bridesmaids dance one after the other to the music through the corridor, followed by the groom and bride. The idea for the dance came from the bride Jill Peterson.

The short film was uploaded to the YouTube video platform on July 19, 2009 .

Effect and reception

Following the video's success on YouTube, the couple were invited to appear on several television shows, including Good Morning America and Today , where they repeated the dance. By November 2009, the video had been viewed over 30 million times on YouTube. In an episode of the television series Das Büro , broadcast in September 2009 , the dance was recreated.

In Germany, RTL and several radio stations reported in the news about the video.

Due to the popularity of the video, sales of the Forever song increased dramatically. The title reached number 4 on the iTunes charts and number 3 on Amazon .
