The Jabet Peak ( French Pic Jabet ) is a 545 m high mountain on Wiencke Island in the West Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . It rises 1.5 km northeast of Port Lockroy at the southwest end of the Comer Range .
Participants in the Fourth French Antarctic Expedition (1903-1905) discovered him. Expedition leader Jean-Baptiste Charcot named him after Jacques François Jabet, boatswain on the ship Français on this research trip . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee transferred the French name to English on November 21, 1949.
