Jack Gaughan Award
The Jack Gaughan Award, or often simply Gaughan Award, is an American art award that has been given to young artists in the field of science fiction by the New England Science Fiction Association since 1986 .
The winners are determined by a jury consisting of three people. As of 2019, these are Patrick Wilshire, Maryanne Plumridge and Stephen Hickman.
The name of the award honors the memory of the science fiction artist and illustrator Jack Gaughan, who died in 1985.
