Keith Parkinson

Keith Parkinson (* 22. October 1958 ; † 26. October 2005 ) was an American fantasy - painter . Parkinson graduated from the Kendall School of Design in 1980 and got his first job with Advertising Posters , who create graphics for video games. He then spent five years at TSR , where, together with Larry Elmore , he played a key role in shaping the look of AD&D . He later painted many book covers as a freelance artist for seven years. In 2000 he created the artwork for THQ and Sony's EverQuest. Since April 2002 he was co-founder and art director at Sigil Games Online. He lived in Southern California . Parkinson died of leukemia on October 26, 2005 after 16 months of illness, leaving behind his wife Donna and two children.
