Jack David Hingert (born September 26, 1990 in London ) is an English-Australian football player.
Career
Hingert played in England in the youth division at Sutton United and Crystal Palace before moving to Australia in 2005. In footballing terms, he was initially active at the amateur club Knox City SC in the state of Victoria and led the school team at Wesley College as team captain. From 2007 he played at Knox City in the men's area in the lower-class national league football and traveled several times to Great Britain for test training. For the 2009 season he moved to Dandenong Thunder in the Victorian Premier League , the highest division in the state. There he made a name for himself as a right full-back within a few months and was invited to a trial training session by the newly founded A-League club North Queensland Fury .
The naturalized Australian convinced coach Ian Ferguson , who already saw him as an upcoming international, and signed his first professional contract a little later. In his first season with North Queensland, Hingert had problems securing a regular place and only made seven appearances by the end of the season. After the club dissolved a large part of the player's contracts during the season break due to financial problems, Hingert came to significantly more playing time in the 2010/11 season . However, the team's performance collapsed in the last third of the season after there were increasing signs that the club would not continue to exist beyond the end of the season. On March 1, 2011, the Australian Association finally revoked North Queensland Fury's license and Hingert's contract became null and void.
After the dissolution of the Fury, the defense specialist returned to Dandenong Thunder and completed a trial with New Zealand A-League representatives Wellington Phoenix before moving to reigning Australian champions Brisbane Roar . Brisbane coach Ange Postecoglou praised Hingert's commitment in particular, his versatility on the defensive. In his first season in Brisbane Hingert came as a substitute player mostly by substitution to eleven missions when Brisbane successfully defended the championship title.
