Jack Taylor (actually George Brown Randall; born October 21, 1936 in Oregon City , Oregon ) is an American actor , screenwriter and set designer .

Life

Jack Taylor began his career in Mexico, where he worked as an actor. His first role was in the 1956 film Pasaporte al infierno , but he was not mentioned in the credits. He was named Grek Martin in the credits in numerous other Mexican productions , including La maldición de Nostradamus from 1960.

About ten years after he began his acting career, he also received increasing numbers of assignments from his home country, the United States. From there on, he repeatedly appeared in well-known films, such as Journey to the Center of the Earth . As early as 1963 he played in Cleopatra , but was not mentioned in the credits. In 1970, Taylor worked as a set designer for the two films, The Witcheslayer of Blackmoor and Night When Dracula Wakes Up . He was starred as George O'Brown in both films .

In 1982 Taylor took on the role of a priest for the film Conan the Barbarian . In 1492 - The Conquest of Paradise , which bears the theme of Christopher Columbus' expedition , Taylor was given the role of Vicuna. A few years later he could be seen in the project The Nine Doors by Roman Polański , he got the supporting role of Viktor Fargas, an old book lover.

More recently, Taylor was involved in Goya's ghosts . Taylor wrote the script for A2Z by Daryush Shokof for the first time in his career .
