La tumba del pistolero is an early Spanish spaghetti western from 1964, not shown in the German-speaking area, staged by Amando de Ossorio .
action
Tom Bogarde returns to Pearson City after studying law in Boston to investigate the death of his brother Jack. The town's residents are usually hostile to him, believing that Jack killed the girl Liz who wanted to marry his best friend, the banker Brandon. Brandon tells Tom that his brother was the leader of a gang of criminals called "The Black Riders". Over the next few days, Tom finds out that he is not the only one who has doubts about this version of the story. When he notices that the saloon owner Lupe is laying flowers on his brother's grave, he decides to investigate the matter.
Jack's grave turns out to be empty.
Remarks
As is so often the case in the early and late phases of the European Western, some versions were provided with imaginative English names for the actors and staff.
Movie songs are My Pistolero and The Golden Coach - interpreted by Silvia Solar and in a choral version.
