Jack Womack
Jack Womack (born January 8, 1956 in Lexington , Kentucky ) is an American author. The subject of his books is in the field of speculative fiction and often contains elements of cyberpunk . His main work is the Ambient series, which to this day comprises 6 volumes, published in the German version by Heyne Verlag and Bastei-Lübbe. The order of publication of these books differs from the timeline inherent in the work. However, each book can also be read on its own, as no prior knowledge of another volume is required. In 1994, Womack received the Philip K. Dick Award for Elvissey .
