Jackson Stewart (born June 30, 1980 in Los Gatos ) is a retired American cyclist .

Career

Stewart was active on the track and in 2003 was American champion in Madison . He has also won numerous cyclocross races , including the 2003 Northampton Cyclocross listed on the international calendar .

His international road cycling career began in 2002 with the US cycling team Ofoto-Lombardi Sports and won several races on the US cycling calendar. In 2005 he moved to Kodakgallery.com-Sierra Nevada , for which he won the 2006 Lancaster Classic . From 2007 until the end of the 2009 season he drove for the BMC Racing Team . In his first year there he was successful with the team in the team time trial of the Giro della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia .
