Jaclyn Ngan (born November 12, 1986 in San Francisco , California ) is an American actress .
life and career
Born in California, Jaclyn Ngan is Filipino - Chinese - Spanish descent. She was best known for the role of Cambodian Sindy in her debut film Freedom Writers alongside Hilary Swank from 2007. She has since appeared in short films and episode roles in television series. Jaclyn Ngan temporarily uses the alternative name Jackie Ngan .
