The Nine Lives of Chloe King is an American television series , which until 16 August 2011 at the US on June 14, cable channel ABC Family is shown. The series is based on the book series of the same name by Celia Thomson.
On September 16, 2011, ABC Family announced that the series would not get a second season. In January 2012, ABC Family announced their intention to continue the series as a television movie.

The main character, Chloe King, is a teenager who discovers that she has special feline abilities, including nine lives, increased speed, strength, hearing, dexterity, night vision, and the ability to extend her nails like cat's claws along with the ability to feel human emotions. When Chloe realizes that a mysterious person is tailing her, she begins trying to expose that she is a descendant of an ancient race called "the Mai". She discovers she has nine lives, and Jasmine and Alek tell her that she alone can protect the breed from human "assasins" who have hunted them for thousands of years.

- Chloe King
Chloe is a perfectly normal girl until her 16th birthday. Because she is a descendant of an ancient breed called Mai. She becomes the "Uniter", the savior of May and the people, and is endowed with the gift of nine lives. Originally from Ukraine, Meredith and her husband adopted her as a baby. Her birth parents were killed. She lives with her adoptive mother in San Francisco, the adoptive father left them 10 years ago. Chloe's kisses, like everyone else's, are deadly to humans. She dies twice in season 1. She is pushed by the Coit Tower in the first episode and shot in the tenth episode.
- Meredith King
She is the adoptive mother of Chloe. Her husband found Chloe in a Ukrainian orphanage and persuaded Meredith to adopt Chloe. Although Chloe and Meredith have a very good relationship, she knows nothing about Chloe's life as Mai. In episode 10, she is kidnapped by Brian's father.
- Brian
He's descended from the Order of the Ten Blades but fell in love with Chloe. He is also the son of the man who killed Chloe Mal. His mother was murdered. He dies after confessing his love to Chloe and kissing her.
- Amy
She is Chloe's best friend and a very good student who isn't afraid to speak up. She supports Chloe as much as she can. You and Paul are a couple.
- Alek Petrov
He's a little arrogant and comes across as arrogant. He's also a May. His birth parents were murdered and his adoptive parents live in London. He has lived with Jasmine and her mother since he was in the USA and has joined the San Francisco May. Its job is to protect the Uniter. He also falls in love with Chloe. In episode 7, Chloe and Alek kiss. He is heartbroken when he learns that she is in love with Brian. In episode 10 he finds his brother who has just killed Jasmin and Valentina.
- Jasmine
She is also a May. Outwardly, Jasmine is reserved, but sensitive. She is a powerful fighter who defends with all her might what is important to her. Your job is to protect the Uniter and to train Chloe. Her mother Valentina is the leader of the San Francisco May. She is frustrated because her mother mostly sees her as a fighter rather than a daughter. In episode 10, she is stabbed to death.
- Paul
Paul is Chloe's best friend and is in a relationship with Amy. He likes comics and draws from stories about Chloe's new life. He describes himself as Chloe's "sidekick". In an emergency, Chloe can always rely on him and Amy.

Valentina believes that Chloe must leave her human life behind to fulfill her destiny as the Savior of the Corn. Paralyzed by a neurotoxin, she has to watch her daughter get stabbed.
- Frank Cabrera
- He is Meredith's friend as well as her work colleague. In episode 9, they split up because he wants to take care of his daughter Vanessa more.
- Whitney Rezza
- He is Brian's father and a member of the Order. He has some secrets to hide. He wants to avenge the death of his wife, for which May is probably responsible, on the Uniter.
