Jacob Gentry

Jacob Gentry (born April 5, 1977 in Nashville , Tennessee , USA ) is an American director , screenwriter and film producer .

Life

Jacob Gentry began directing at the age of 26 when he was directing his first film, Last Goodbye . Oscar winner Faye Dunaway and David Carradine played in it . The film received a lot of praise for its innovative narrative style and editing. Variety magazine even compared Gentry's film with the works of Paul Thomas Anderson and David Lynch . Gentry then worked as a co-writer, producer and director on the horror science fiction film The Signal . This film was nominated for the 2009 John Cassavetes Award at the Independent Spirit Awards . Gentry achieved further success with the slasher film My Super Psycho Sweet 16 and its successor My Super Psycho Sweet 16 Movie II and the final film of the trilogy My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 3 .
