Jacob Shea

Jacob Shea (* in San José ) is an American composer .

Life

Jacob Shea studied composition at the University of California . He worked with several composers of film music , u. a. with Elliot Goldenthal , Steve Jablonsky , Henry Jackman and Hans Zimmer .

He received a BMI Film & TV Award for Mountain Men - Survival in the Wilderness (2013) and two BMI awards for Alaskan Bush People . In 2017 he was nominated for the International Film Music Critics (IFMCA) award in the category “Best Original Score for a Documentary Film” for the documentary Blue Planet II together with Hans Zimmer and Jasha Klebe . He also composed the music for the Sky series Der Pass . He also makes music for computer games .
