Jacob Spengler (born May 21, 1537 in St. Gallen ; † July 9, 1613 ibid) was a mayor of St. Gallen ( Switzerland ).

Life

Jacob Spengler was the son of Leonhard Spengler, city ​​judge , and his wife Barbara, b. Scherrer.

He was a member of the shoemaker's guild and from 1564 to 1571 Elfer and from 1572 to 1573 their guild master.

Jacob Spengler married Katharina in 1568, daughter of Jacob Donder.
