Joachim Reutlinger

Joachim Reutlinger (* 1553 in St. Gallen ; † 1620 ibid.) Was a mayor of St. Gallen ( Switzerland ).

Life

Joachim Reutlinger was the son of his father of the same name, Joachim Reutlinger, 911 and councilor and his wife Agatha Varnbühler.

In 1579 he was a 911 and in 1596 he became Vogt in Bürglen . In 1601 he was elected councilor and from 1602 to 1620 he was, alternating with Othmar Reiner , Jacob Spengler , Georg Huber (elected 1613) and Joachim Zollikofer (elected 1613), mayor , former mayor and imperial bailiff every three years .

Joachim Reutlinger was married to Magdalena Keller in his first marriage and to Anna Scherb in his second marriage.

He was a member of the Society for the Notenstein .

Honors

Joachim Reutlinger was raised to hereditary imperial nobility on August 29, 1612 in Prague by Emperor Matthias and his descendants .
