Jacob von Knuth , also Jakob von Knuth (* around 1550 , † around 1597 ) was a German nobleman and bailiff. He was the heir to Leizen, Priborn and Spitzkuhn.

Life

Jacob von Knuth was the son of Wentzloff III. von Knuths and Anna von Wülschens were born into the Mecklenburg nobility family von Knuth . In 1570 he and his brothers Moritz and Joachim sued the chaplain at Röbel . Together with his brothers, he built a new main building on Leizen in 1576 . In 1577 he took his feudal oath on Duke Ulrich in the Mecklenburg Landtag in Schwerin , and at the Landtag he excused his absent brothers. In 1581 he became a bailiff in Wredenhagen .

On April 12, 1591 Jacob and Joachim Friedenhagen zu Dambeck were appointed commissioner of the Priegnitz against the Rohr. Possibly he was also a bailiff in the plan and was in princely service.

From his marriage to Sophie von Kruse (* before 1565, † after 1580) the son Wentzloff IV. Von Knuth was born .
