Jacqueline Maurer-Mayor (born June 22, 1947 in Vaulion ) is a former Swiss politician ( FDP) .

Life

From 1967 to 1973 she was the executive secretary, then until 1981 a councilor . Between 1978 and 1986 and between 1990 and 1997 she was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Vaud, which she presided over in 1996.

From 1981 she was also a member of the board of directors or board members of several associations or cantonal groups such as Innovation SA ., The Vaudois section of the Swiss Automobile Club (President from 1986 to 1997), Association routière vaudoise (Vice President from 1987 to 1997), AIDS -Hilfe Schweiz and was president of the Association of Regional Hospitals in Vaud, the purchasing center for the medical facilities and the IT association for the medical facilities. From 1997 to 2007 she was State Councilor of the Canton of Vaud and Head of the Department of Economic Affairs. From 2000 to 2004 she was also President of the State Council.

Since 2009 she has chaired the board of Retraites Populaires in Lausanne.
