Jacqueline Stuhler (* 1956 in Lindau on Lake Constance ) is a German television presenter and journalist .

Life

Growing up on Lake Constance , Jacqueline Stuhler gained her first professional experience in Franconia : as a trainee at the Nürnberger Zeitung , as a student of theater studies in Erlangen , as a reporter for Bayerischer Rundfunk . Reports from the region were soon followed by the moderation of well-known youth programs on radio and television, “ Zündfunk ” and “ Live aus dem Alabama ”.

For the WDR she moderated, u. a. - alternating with Ulrich Wickert - a political program for children. “Left and Right from the Equator” was broadcast on ARD , a world mirror for children who grew up without the Internet and who learned about wars and crises from television.

In 1990 Jacqueline Stuhler took over the management of the internal policy editorial team at SDR in Stuttgart. There she was responsible for the well-known ARD controversy program “Pro and Contra” and “Schlaglicht” in the Third. She presented this program with the topic of the week alongside the latest news until she was called to the founding team of ARD-Buffet in 1998 . Jacqueline Stuhler remained loyal to the first joint broadcast of the merged channel SWR for a long time. She moderated the counselor for body and soul for eleven years.

In addition, she interviewed prominent personalities on SWR television from 2000 to 2008 in “ Wortwechsel ” and shaped the political magazine “ Ländersache ”. From 2009 to 2011 she moderated the series of talks “ Life! What moves people ”together with Jon Christoph Berndt on EinsPlus , the former digital channel of ARD.

Awards

In 1982 Jacqueline Stuhler was awarded the Ernst Schneider Prize , and in 2001 the Hans Bausch Mediapreis .
