Career

society

Duquesne started playing football at the age of 14 in the youth of R Olympic Charleroi . In 1962 he moved up to the professional team and was used in his first season due to an injury to the goalkeeper Jacques Gérard in 26 games of the First Division . At the end of the 1962/63 season , ROC rose from bottom of the table. Duquesne then moved to ARA La Gantoise , but could not assert himself as number one, so that he returned to Charleroi after only one year. As a result, he remained loyal to his parent club until the end of his career in 1979.

National team

Between 1969 and 1971 he was nominated 16 times for the squad of the Belgian national team , but was not used in a single game. Although he only played in the Belgian second division with his club , he was called up as the third goalkeeper in the Belgian squad at the 1970 World Cup in Mexico .
