Jacques Joseph Marie Despierre IdP (born May 6, 1928 in Toulouse ) is Former Bishop of Carcassonne .

Life

Jacques Joseph Marie Despierre joined the secular institute Istituto del Prado and was ordained a priest on June 24, 1952 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Carcassonne on August 25, 1982 .

The Archbishop of Toulouse André Charles Collini consecrated him on October 10 of the same year as bishop ; Co - consecrators were Pierre-Marie-Joseph Puech , Bishop Emeritus of Carcassonne, and Sabin-Marie Saint-Gaudens , Bishop of Agen .
