Sabin-Marie Saint-Gaudens
Sabin-Marie Saint-Gaudens (born September 24, 1921 in Miremont , † December 23, 2001 ) was the Roman Catholic Bishop of Agen .
Life
Sabin-Marie Saint-Gaudens was ordained a priest on June 29, 1948 .
Paul VI appointed him on February 27, 1967 auxiliary bishop in Toulouse and titular bishop of Lapda . The Archbishop of Toulouse Louis-Jean-Frédéric Guyot consecrated him bishop on May 21 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Jean-Baptiste Brunon PSS , Bishop of Tulle , and Alfred-Jean-Félix Ancel IdP , Auxiliary Bishop in Lyon .
On September 15, 1972, the Pope appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of Agen . After Roger André Marcel Johan's retirement , he succeeded him on March 13, 1976 as Bishop of Agen. On December 13, 1996, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
