Jacques Salze (born April 20, 1987 in Montpellier ) is a French football player .

Career

Salze grew up in Montpellier and played in his youth in the junior team of the local professional club HSC Montpellier . He then spent two years at FC Sète before moving to the youth department at AS Cannes . At Cannes he was accepted into the third division team in 2005 at the age of 18. In his first season, he came on regular missions and aroused the interest of the second division US Créteil , from whom he was committed in the summer of 2006. On September 29, 2006, he was 1-0 in the second division match against FC Istres for the full 90 minutes on the pitch and made his professional debut. From then on he ran regularly for Créteil, with whom he had to accept relegation to the third division in 2007. Although the club initially did not rise again, the player was able to return to the second-highest French division in 2009 when he went to Clermont Foot . Salze was also given a regular place in Clermont.
