Jacob de Litemont or Jacob de Littemont or Jacob de Lichtemont was court painter to the French kings Charles VII and Louis XI. His successor was Jean Fouquet around 1475 .

Little is known about Litemont. He seems to come from the southern Netherlands . As a court painter he had to do a lot of decorative work, most of which have not survived or cannot be assigned. A portrait of the King of Litemont has also not survived. Claude Schaefer presented the thesis, the 1454/55 painted Parlamentsretabel the Louvre attributable Lite Mont and proposed him as a teacher Fouquet. The Louvre's official database attributes the portrait to an unknown French painter with Flemish influence.
