The Jagarane ( Norwegian for [the] hunters , English Jagar Islands ) are a group of small islands off the coast of the East Antarctic Kemplands . You are just before Cape Boothby .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the islands, mapped them using aerial photographs from the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia converted this name into English in 1965.
