The Cape Boothby is a round cape on the coast of the East Antarctic Kemplands . It is located on the east side of the Edward VIII Plateau immediately north of Edward VIII Bay and 6 km north of the Kloa headland .
The cape was discovered on February 28, 1936 as part of the British Discovery Investigations by the crew of the research vessel RRS William Scoresby . It is named after the ship's captain, Claude Reginald Underwood Boothby (1903 - unknown).
