Jahcoozi is a multinational music group from Berlin . Her style of music is described as a mix of abstract electronic rhythms and ragga, hip-hop, blip-hop and electronica. The trio consists of the Sri Lankan- British Sasha Perera , Robot Koch from Germany and the Israeli Oren Gerlitz, also known as Baba Massive.

history

Jahcoozi began to play in Berlin scene circles from 2003. The first EP Fish was released in July 2003 on the Berlin label WMF Records . It was followed by appearances, including at the Berlin Music Festival brand B . In 2005 the debut album Pure Breed Mongrel was released on Kitty-Yo .

The third album by the group Barefoot Wanderer was released on April 23, 2010.

Sasha Perera has also played as Perera Elsewhere since 2013 . In 2013, Perera Elsewhere's first single Bizarre was released on the FoFMusic label . Furthermore she works as a DJ under the name Mother Perera .
