Objective and task

The yearbook is in the tradition of Catholic theology, but its themes and authors are ecumenical, interdisciplinary and international. It pursues the goals that the scientific discipline of Christian social sciences and Christian social teaching face. The yearbook wants to recognize social challenges and problems and interpret and judge them under Christian auspices. As a scientific publication organ it is free, but has a special connection to the socio-critical competence of Christian actors and the ecclesiastical, magisterial social proclamation ( social doctrine of the church ).
