Jaime Munguía

Jaime Munguia (* 6. October 1996 in Tijuana , Mexico , as Jaime Aaron Munguia Escobedo ) is a Mexican professional boxer in the Light Middleweight and currently undefeated. His current manager is his father, Jaime Munguía , after whom he is named. His father is also his former trainer. He is currently being trained by Noe Alvarez . The left wing is promoted by Fernando Beltran , who also promoted former world champions José Luis Castillo , Eric Ortiz and Ulises Solis .

Career

In 2013 Munguía made his debut, he won his first six fights early.

In February 2018 he faced the Argentinian Jose Carlos Paz in a ten-round fight for the WBC Latin title and won in the third round by classic knockout.

On May 12 of the same year, Munguía, who is considered to be quite powerful, boxed against the American Sadam Ali for the World Championship of the WBO - Munguía defeated Ali in round 4 by TKo and thus took the world championship belt from him.
