Jake Canuso
Jake Canuso (born: Carmine Canuso ; born January 13, 1970 in Zurich ) is a Swiss - British actor .
Life
Jake Canuso was born in Zurich to Italian parents who immigrated to Switzerland. At the age of 16 he started working as a dancer; he was the youngest member of the ensemble at the Zurich Opera House . In his later youth Canuso went to London , where he was used as a background dancer for the Spice Girls or Take That . In 1995 he was as a ballet dancer in the music video No More 'I Love You's' from Annie Lennox to see.
His acting career began relatively late compared to other actors. He made his film debut in 2004 as a guest actor in an episode of the television series Hustle - Dishonest Lasts Longest . Further guest appearances in series like 2005 in Heartbeat or 2006 in Doctors followed.
Occasionally he also appeared in front of the camera as an actor for feature films. Among the best-known are the 2006 war film Flyboys - Heroes of the Skies and the multi-award-winning action film The Dark Knight Rises in 2012 .
In 2013 he was won over as the biblical prophet Daniel for the miniseries The Bible .
Jake Canuso is one of the survivors of the December 26, 2004 tsunami in Thailand .
