Jakob Baur

Jakob Baur (born July 1, 1917 - † May 11, 1999 ) was a Swiss politician ( BGB ).

Baur was Zurich City Councilor from 1958 to 1978 . As a school board member, he took an educational leave in the United States, about which he published the brochure Schools of the United States of America seen by a Swiss in 1964 . Under his direction, homosexuals were not proposed for election as teachers if their inclinations were known. In 1971 he published the development of vocational schools in the city of Zurich .
