Jakob Biegi

Jakob Biegi (born September 15, 1886 in Osthofen , † December 20, 1955 in Wetzlar ) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a former member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Jakob Biegi was the son of the day laborer Johann Biegi II and his wife Christine née Holzmann. Jakob Biegi, who was of Protestant faith, was married to Elisabeth, born Lemb.

Jakob Biegi worked as a bricklayer and was later head of the Osthofen distribution center of the Worms-Lampertheim district consumer association. He was a city councilor in Wetzlar. In the first electoral term he was a member of the state parliament from 1919 to 1921.
