Jam Trax is a blues rock - band from Carinthia in Austria , which in 1999 by five rock musicians was founded.

The band has so far consisted of the founding members. Only guitarist Christian Schranz left the band in 2005, since then the four of them have played Erhard Fian ( vocals , acoustic guitar ), Sieghard Hatberger ( electric bass , vocals), Achim Seebacher ( electric guitar ) and Thomas Prugger ( drums ).

In the early years the band played Hard Rock - covers , among other rock events and meetings of motorcycle clubs . In 2001 the CD No Need To Be Different was recorded with cover versions.

In 2004 the next studio work, Still Not Different , followed, on which only his own compositions can be found. Since 2005 the band has turned more and more to blues rock and increasingly replaced the cover versions with their own compositions. The band's appearances were now increasingly taking place in music clubs, concert cellars and at festivals such as the Austro Rock Festival or the Rockfete. When the band was discovered by organizers after many concerts all over Austria, appearances in the opening act for Nazareth , The Animals or T. Rex followed . The third studio work called Homesick was created in 2009.

The first Unplugged concert took place in June 2013. In 2016 Jam Trax took part in the Blues Challenge in Bruck at the Leitha, and won the jury and audience rating. In 2016 and 2017 concerts at the Wienergassenblues Festival will follow. The band also played concerts in Croatia and Italy.

In 2017 the fourth studio work was created with the title Trouble . The first TV appearance took place on July 22, 2018 on ORF in the Brieflos Show with Peter Rapp .
