James DR Hickox

James DR Hickox (* 1965 ) is a British film director.

Career

His father is Douglas Hickox , who was also active as a director. His mother Anne V. Coates also worked and his siblings, Emma E. Hickox and Anthony Hickox , are also employed in the film industry.

James DR Hickox began his career in the film business as apprentice editor for the film Greystoke - The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes from 1984. He was also seen in small supporting roles in various films.

As an independent film editor he worked on Hellraiser III in 1992 . A year later he was involved in Warlock - Satan's Son Returns . Both films were directed by his brother.

In 1995 he made his debut as a director with Kinder des Zorns III . Around a dozen other productions followed, mainly B-films like Blood Surf from 2000.
