Anthony Hickox

Anthony Hickox (* 1959 in London , England , Great Britain ) is a British director, actor and screenwriter. As a young boy, Anthony Hickox often secretly watched horror films by British film company Hammer-Films on television at night . His most famous works come from the horror genre. As part of the horror film Hellraiser III , he shot a music clip for the band Motörhead . He was also increasingly responsible as the director of individual episodes of US series ( New York Undercover; Extreme-Das Leben am Abgrund; Hunted-The Second Face; Pensacola-Wings made of steel ). Seim work includes more than two dozen productions, he made his directorial debut in 1988 with Waxwork .

His father Douglas Hickox was also a director. For the sake of his son Anthony, who was a big fan of horror stories even as a child, Douglas Hickox made the horror film Theater des Horens in 1973 , although his father detested this genre. His mother Anne V. Coates as well as his brother James DR Hickox and his sister Emma E. Hickox are also active in the film business.
