James H. Elmsley
James Harold Elmsley CB , CMG , DSO (* 1859 ; † 1921 ) was a Canadian major general and was in command of the Canadian Siberian Expeditionary Force (CSEF) (1918-1919). His troops reached the port of Vladivostok on October 27, 1918 .
Before this mission, Elmsley commanded the Canadian 8th Infantry Brigade of the Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) during the fighting in France.
