James Johnson (athlete)

James "Jim" Johnson was an American sprinter .

In 1963 he was nominated as US vice indoor champion over 600 yards for the Pan-American Games in São Paulo , where he won over 400 m and in the 4-by-400-meter relay .

In 2009 he was posthumously inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame of the Norfolk State University Athletics Foundation (NSUAF).
