Ernst August Wilhelm Blanke (born December 10, 1932 in Bischmisheim ) is a German lawyer and former ministerial conductor. D.

Life

Ernst August Wilhelm Blanke received his doctorate in 1960 at the law and political science faculty of the University of Bonn on the subjective elements of justification .

Professionally, he took up the civil service career and was for the longest time Ministerialrat or Ministerialdirigent in the Ministry of Education and Science . As the "midwife of BAföG" he accompanied the development of the Federal Training Assistance Act from its preparation in 1968 to his retirement in 1997 - unaffected by changes at ministerial level. Participation in the commentary gave him, according to his own statement, an additional deep insight into the effects of legal regulations on everyday life. Even after leaving the civil service, he continued to dedicate himself to the topic and continued to publish comments, most recently in May 2014.

In addition to his work, Blanke was also involved in the Evangelical Church in Germany , for example as a member of the confirmation work working group in the EKD Chamber for Education .
