James Pond is the main character of the same name platformers Run series from Vector Dean and Millennium Interactive , which from Electronic Arts was published 1990th Pond is a fish that parodies the character James Bond invented by Ian Fleming . The English word pond in the German translation means pond . The first part of the series appeared in 1990 for the Amiga and other platforms.
An offshoot of the series is the title The Aquatic Games , the game principle of which is modeled on that of Track & Field .
